Clean Power Expo in the Hudson Valley Brewery
The Clean Power Expo held on October 10, 2019 at the Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, New York was a huge success. Held in partnership with New Yorkers for Clean Power and Sustainable Hudson Valley Community, the Hudson Valley Community Power team welcomed more than 60 community members to participate in discussions about local clean energy solutions alongside the Mayor of Beacon, Randy Casale.
As proud participants in the City of Beacon’s Clean Power Initiative, the Hudson Valley Brewery was the ideal venue for the community. The brewery itself has chosen to be powered entirely by renewable energy as part of the program and uses a hot water reclaim system to perform heat exchange and minimize consumption (learn more here). Like the brewery, the Clean Power Expo showcased how clean energy solutions can offer financial savings while reducing New York State's carbon footprint.
Our partner Nexamp also hosted a table to meet community members and answer questions on local solar farm subscription.
We are thrilled at the support shown for our community offerings with endorsements from Mayor Randy Casale, members of the City Council and our favorite brewery owner!
